How To Increase Your Property Value

Looking Right:

Communal rooms and hallways:
If you live in a flat, check all communal areas are clean. Remove any junk mail, check all the light bulbs work and find somewhere else to leave your bike if you keep it in the hall.

De-junk living rooms and bedrooms:
Nothing makes a room look smaller than stacks of knick-knacks, piles of paper and clothes all over the floor. Box up and stow away and overspill or ornaments and neatly fold and put things away.

Smarten up furniture:
Cover dated or worn sofas and chairs with large throws in a neutral colour so they aren’t the main focus of the room. Use scatter cushions to brighten things up.

Colour:
If you have a very bright colour scheme in your house, think about painting it white, as buyers prefer it.
